Linearis Comfort – new shower channel for bathrooms renovations

KESSEL AG has expanded its shower channel range to include the very low profile Linearis Comfort shower channel. The total installation height from drain body to channel cover is just 93 mm. This means that in many cases it can be installed without having to remove the existing sub-floor and is highly suitable for renovating bathrooms. Despite the very low installation height, the Linearis Comfort has a flow rate of 63 litres / minute at a threshold / step of 10 millimetres. [> more information]

Water-free odour trap Multistop as an alternative to standard odour traps

With Multistop, the drainage specialist KESSEL offers a practical alternative to odour traps with seal water. While standard odour traps in drains frequently dry out due to air conditioning units, underfloor heating or infrequent use, Multistop prevents bad odours coming up from the drain without the use of water. A tight sealing flap forms a reliable seal. It only opens up when water makes contact to allow it to flow away without being restricted. The water-free odour trap can be integrated in all floor drains by KESSEL.  [> more information]

A pumping station made of polymer with a clear width (Ø) of 600 is new in the lifting station range from KESSEL AG. The pumping station can be used for the draining of wastewater with and without sewage below the backwater level, as backwater protection for separator systems and for draining basement apartments or driveways. It is installed at a depth of up to 2.25 metres in the ground outside the building. The favourably priced overall system is even resistant to groundwater up to the top ground surface. The draining specialist KESSEL has now developed an automatic measuring device for light liquid separators. SonicControl provides three warning devices in one. An alarm is not only triggered in the event of backwater, in other words as soon as the maximum permissible level of light liquid has been reached in the separator, it also monitors oil and sludge layers down to the last centimetre. The values can easily be read off at the control unit. No complex visual checks are necessary. "Since the measuring device continually provides the exact level of the oil and sludge layer, early planning for disposal is guaranteed," Joachim Ziob, Product Manager for Separator Systems at KESSEL, explains. That saves time and costs. Retrofit installation in all KESSEL light liquid separators is also possible. [> more information]

(Lenting, 17 Januar 2011) The draining specialist KESSEL has developed an alternative to the classical lifting station for sewage: Ecolift. During normal operation, the new system for lifting wastewater uses the natural gradient to the sewage channel and only uses the pressure pipe through the backwater level for discharge if necessary, in other words when backwater builds up. This reduces energy consumption to a minimum. KESSEL will be presenting the system at the BAU fair which will take place in Munich from 17th to 22nd January 2011. [> more information]
